Athanasios Asimakopulos, 1930-1990
Greek-Canadian Post Keynesian
economist.
Generally known as "Tom" Asimakopulos, the Canadian-born economist
studied at Cambridge, where
he came into the orbit of Cambridge
Keynesians, like Joan Robinson and
Nicholas Kaldor. His major work,
published posthumously in 1991, combines traditional Keynesian and
Kaleckian themes.
Asimakopulus taught at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, for
much of his life.
