Felix Kaufmann, 1895-1949.

Austrian philosopher, mainly associated with the logical-positivist Vienna Circle of Moritz Schlick,Otto Neurath et al., but also with the Ludwig von Mises's seminar and the third generation of the Austrian School.

Kaufmann's principal claim to fame is his positivist methodology of the social sciences.

After the Anschluss of 1938, Kaufmann emigrated to America, joining the New School for Social Research in New York.
